The Crimea with its regular sea breezes is an excellent place for wind- and kitesurfing. Almost on every beach you can rent windsurfing equipment and enjoy the life. Kitesurfing is not yet widespread.

In its north-eastern part the Crimea is surrounded by the Azov Sea which is rather shallow. The Cape Kazantip is the best place for training of the beginners. Other kitesurfing sites are located on the western coast of the Crimea to the north from the city of Evpatoriya.
